New Unit System
Getting started as an individual patrol unit
To start your patrol as an individual unit, simply head over to your community homepage, then select "Patrol." Once you've done that:
- Select your department
- Select your server
- Create a new callsign
- Enter your callsign
- Enter a Join Code, this can be anything you want
- Login into patrol
Getting started as a ridealong unit
To start your patrol as a ridealong unit, there are two different types of users in this case. There is one person who is the creator of the unit, and another who's the ridealong of the unit. Below are the differences:
Creator of a Unit
If you're the creator of a unit, you'll need to:
- Select your department
- Select your server
- Create a new callsign
- Enter your callsign
- Enter a Join Code- this can be anything you want, but make to remember what you entered
- Login into patrol
Ridealong of a unit
If you're the ridealong of a unit, you'll need to:
- Select a department, this must be the same as your ridealong creator
- Select your server, this also must be the same as your ridealong creator
- Select "Join a Unit"
- Select the unit you would like to join
- Enter the join code the creator of the unit gave you
- You should receive a checkmark next to the join code input if the code was correctly entered
- Login into patrol
